About Me

Since 2008, Samuel “Sam” Ketner has led as co-owner of the Auto House in North Carolina. He established the company in collaboration with his business partner, Nate Brown, and together, the pair have grown the business into a two-location entity with more than 150 employees. Mr. Ketner and Mr. Brown now oversee the dealership's operations in Mooresville and Salisbury, NC, as well as such community outreach efforts as its donation to the FCCA Rowan Soccer Club.

Samuel Ketner met Nate Brown when they were both students at Catawba College's Ketner School of Business. This highly regarded school is the brainchild of the late Ralph W. Ketner, founder of the Food Lion chain, and has since educated many entrepreneurs, state governors, and other successful professionals.

While working toward his business and marketing degree, Sam Ketner competed as a member of Catawba College's nationally recognized Division II soccer team. Having played in a Premier club team and on the varsity team at East Rowan High School as well, he contributed to the Catawba team as a midfielder. He also established the school's chapter of Pi Sigma Epsilon, Catawba's first business fraternity, and in this role helped other students to gain pre-professional experience.
